Deze New England IPA schenkt licht troebel blond, met redelijk wat CO2 (koolzuur) en een mooie witte schuimkraag. In het aroma vinden we een complexe combinatie van bloemig, fruitig (licht citrus) en kruidig, dit naast de aroma-bitterheid afkomstig van de dry-hopping met Summit hop. In de smaak treffen we een verfrissend effect van de pareling (koolzuur) en opnieuw die citrus-fruitigheid. Het bier is licht bitter en dit reflecteert zich nog het best in de afdronk die lang en complex die subtiele bitterheid aanhoudt. Vergeet immers niet dat er 4 hopsoorten in één Nova gaan! Smaakvol en toch slechts 6.2% alc.vol., dat nodigt uit tot (herhaald) proeven... zowel voor de occasionele bierliefhebber als de doorwinterde zytholoog! - Website brouwer/brewery/brasseur:

This New England IPA pours slightly turbid blonde, with quite some carbonation and a beautiful white head. In the aroma we find a complex combination of floral, fruity (light citrus) and spicy, this next to the aroma bitterness from the dry-hopping with Summit hops. In the taste we find a refreshing effect of the carbonation and again that citrus-fruitiness. The beer is slightly bitter and this is best reflected in the aftertaste that is long and complex, holding subtle bitterness. Don't forget that there are 4 hops in one Nova! Tasteful and yet only 6.2% alc.vol., sounds tempting doesn't it? Both for the occasional beer lover and the seasoned sommelier!
